To improve the better technique, raise the vaccine quality. Since then we can determine the exact dose to get the high protection and reduce the purulent ganglion when injection.

Pasteur Institute in HCM City has succeed to produce BCG vaccine freeze-dried by dispersed culture method:

All examination test give the good result, as follows.

– Alive vaccine level fresh:           91.72 ± 9.20 x 106 CFU/mg.

– Alive level after freeze-dried:     39.90 ± 6.20 x 106 CFU/mg.

– % alive after freeze-dried:         43.84 ± 7.78 x 106 CFU/mg.

– % stability with temperature:    32.72 ± 4.13 x 106 CFU/mg.

– Dispersive level:                     1.78 ± 0.09 x 106 CFU/mg.
